Coaching for the road ahead

Driving coaching

Good driving starts with awareness, judgment, and confidence. Drawing on over 40 years of racing and coaching experience, David DuBois helps drivers understand what is happening around them, recognize their options, and develop habits they can use on the road and on the track.

New drivers and everyday confidence

Learn to look beyond the car in front of you, recognize developing hazards, and leave yourself time and space to respond. Coaching connects the mechanics of driving with the thinking that supports safer, more deliberate decisions.

Car control and performance driving

Understand how the car responds to your inputs, build consistency through practice, and use feedback to improve. Performance comes from awareness, preparation, and sound technique.  I use specific "car control" and "car awareness" exercises for new students.

The business coaching connection

Driving coaching and business coaching share a purpose: helping you see more clearly and act with greater intention. Both involve looking ahead, recognizing blind spots, understanding your capabilities, and making decisions under pressure. The coach brings perspective and feedback; you remain in the driver’s seat.

A plan that fits the conditions

A driver reads the road, understands the car, and chooses a line. A business leader reads the market, understands the team and resources, and chooses a direction. In both settings, a useful plan accounts for real conditions, manages risk, and leaves room to adapt. More speed is only helpful when you have control.

Turn feedback into progress

Consulting can help diagnose a problem and shape a practical plan. Coaching helps turn that plan into repeatable habits through practice, feedback, and accountability. Whether reviewing a lap or a business decision, the questions are similar: What happened? What did we miss? What will we do differently next time?

Better awareness. Better decisions. Greater confidence.
